Amethyst is amazing, so happy with it so far, have used it for both Nexus mods and some BepinEx Thunderstore mods, works great for each. So nice to have a native option.

Oh, that’s fantastic to hear. I’ve been quite annoyed as well, and don’t really want a local video player, even with good options. I mostly just want to poke around YouTube, poke around for something stupid like a guy base jumping with a 360 camera, say “that’s neat”, and go back to gaming on it. Having to find some YT downloader to sit in the middle of that kinda ruins the appeal, even if it would work.

Alternate recommendation (if you’re not already in Mod Organizer), I tried Amethyst Mod Manager recently, and it was fantastic. Full support for everything I used to do in MO2, even Jabberwocky lists. Bonus: it also has support for Thunderstore/BepinEx modded games, it’s a pretty darn impressive Linux-native all in one modding solution.

Note: this isn’t about a VR implementation, it’s just the 2D version ported to ARM. If you play it on Steam Frame, it still just projects onto a virtual 2D screen, it just runs natively without lepton. You can now run the game much faster on a raspberry pi as well.
Direct question… does this have any value for a Steam game, given Steam already does this? Might be very worthwhile for Heroic launcher or something, but if I play mostly on Steam on Linux do I have any reason to care about this?
