A good box cutter and replacement Blades save similar amounts of headaches, and a good head lamp with a replaceable 18650 li-ion battery too.

I mean planned obsolescence, maybe… But data mining wasn’t as profitable at the time and Facebook had just overtaken MySpace, so I would argue 2007 wasn’t yet a race to the bottom in many aspects.

What’s the solution here though? I am 100% unwilling to go back to non-compatible and separate chargers for electronics where not completely necessary. It’s awesome taking only my laptop charger with me and being able to charge all devices optimally with it.
