I hope, really hope I can find a deal on two 8TB nas drives for my home server on black friday so I can finally bring it online after a yearof waiting for better perices…

I got on the Stockholm metro to commute home…

…for the glory of the empire!

There is so much hate in the world, I try to limit my output, it doesn’t always work, but I try.

Neither franchise interests me.

But I wish that everyone playing either will have a good time with them.

IT guy here, such a classic, I absolutely love it.

I am very happy to have bought Affinity Photo before Serif sold out.

What were the 2024 numbers?

Aparantly we can assume that the control system for the fridges were connected to the internet, and I can’t really see the point of that.

Why not just have the monitoring system be sepaeate from the control system, I am sure you can monitor the system through external sensors to the control system.

Then you can get the alerts while the actual control system remains disconnected from the internet.

I don’t know if the US would allow me to vote as I am a Swede who has never even visited the US

I have never understood why translation movies and tv shows would be so great, it works for kids shows, but adults can deal woth subtitles

I am not going to be pissed at not including rich dickheads.

To be fair, it doesn’t say that Elon was the instructor, just that they were both attending the same training session

Rule 5

I wonder if management is deliberately destroying Reddit while shorting the stock…

I like it…

But yeah, make it an option.

Was it?

Hummmm…

Yeah, I guess it was cool for a few months, then it quickly stopped being cool…

I ain’t giving those greedy bastards free electricity and compute power.

I feel like we have strayed too far away from my main point, solar doesn’t work when it is dark outside.

It is dark for long streaches of time in the Nordics.

When it is dark, we use more energy to heat and light our homes.

Batteries can’t supply enough power during that time.

Importing power is expensive.

So domestic power generation it is, and since nuclear power is one of the most environmentally friendly power sources we have and will work in the dark, it makes sense to use it to complement renewables.

Cool, I didn’t know that.

I just mentioned that we have the fuel and the enrichment facilities in the EU…
