I live in Texas, and while I suspect most people here like pickup trucks, I detest them. Only a pickup that is all beaten up from heavy use or seems to be actively being used can be forgiven. Everything else is just an eyesore to me. And if you live in Texas and you want to know a shortcut for identifying the worst drivers on the road, just look for any large meticulously maintained pickup truck. The driver is guaranteed to be an asshole.
I still remember the day I first saw the Cybertruck. I couldn’t believe they found a way to make pickup trucks uglier. I never believed they’d actually manufacture any or get anybody to buy one. It was just so obvious. Nobody would want to drive an embarrassment like that.
