MITM HTTPS traffic without a key doesn’t really let you do much of anything, especially with stuff like HSTS. You can mess with DNS, but the whole certificate authority thing is meant to make it so you can’t redirect someone’s traffic to a malicious server.
This leaked private key completely destroys that guarantee, making it extremely scary. ~Plus, saved traffic for any site signed by this key which didn’t use PFS will be subject to post-facto decryption.~
edit: I don’t know wtf I was thinking, the decryption thing is nonsense.

At least according to Ed Zitron, they only appeared profitable due to creative bookkeeping. They timed the announcement of their shitty “annualized revenue” to coincide with the few months of vastly reduced rent at the datacenter Musk rented to them as well as the shift to token based billing for enterprise customers. Their inference is likely not profitable.
I’d argue that humanism is a bit different from, say, Christianity. It has ancient philisophilcal roots, but it’s not like humanists are following texts from some crazy asshole tripping balls in a desert 2000 years ago.
