It runs good too. It’s hard to make this game run well on modern computers, and it’s next to impossible to find through legitimate channels. So what’s all these people whining about, other than the perpetual AI moaning, which honestly is getting almost just as bad as the AI tire pumping.

No way. No shade to Hot Pursuit (also a banger), but this game was right place, right time. Probably the best timed game in history. NFSU1 has a special place in my heart too, but this one was next level.

Might be better, but holy shit do people on social media brigade, which is where I’m not sure that idea would work so well. Some topics just heat people up, and it turns into basically a runaway reaction. It’s definitely an alternative thing to volunteer your time on. I’m not throwing shade at any decent mods, but they are far and few between and it doesn’t take much imagination to see the sort of people and the sort of personalities that are going to be attracted to such a thing.
