I hate that this is a thing. An AI bot posting about AI things on one of the least AI friendly places on the internet and getting to the “frontpage”.

It has has much more than that since the very beginning. I’m not defending it in any way but there’s no reason to say false things about it. It has friends, in-game overlay, achievements etc.

“It hasn’t affected me so that means it’s the same for everyone else” idiocy level thinking.

Was always glad to have never been an Amazon customer, even more so now.

So is this a US specific thing or not? The article doesn’t really make that clear.

Ok…? This is such an odd comment, it’s like you’re not aware of lemmy and piefed etc. being alternatives while using one of them.

It never stops being funny how the US is always 10-20-30 years late with most things and it’s always done in the worst way possible. We’ve had these for many years here in Sweden and have none of these issues. All I’ve heard from friends who work at grocery stores is that they’re better and takes less work to change, giving more time for other things.
