That could be. I just imagined a person being able to just outright BUY the graphene device, and thought that would be a world I’d like to live in. (Not for two grand though)
Too edgy for Tesseract 2026

I’m disappointed that it will not SHIP WITH Graphene, but at least it will be a VERY HIGH END phone for privacy-minded people who are also very irresponsible with their money. It’s something, but it’s not what I was hoping to learn.
Fun thought experiment but that made me imagine society falling apart so badly that everyone just walks around sign-language meme’ing on everyone else. Eeew.
My old fart brain really struggled reading that with all the emoji but it was completely worth it.
Edit hours later: I’ve read this a dozen times and every time I chuckle and feel a little better.

Welcome.
You may find stronger opinions here, and you may find them more popular than you’d expect.

The more pants-on-head crazy the claims are, the more desperate they are.

Did someone say Thunderfury, Blessed blade of the Windseeker?
I’ll settle for roasting marshmallows outside the abandoned Port Washington data center.
Please please please please let it happen

More please.

You’re good enough, you’re smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like you.

NOW we agree. Fuck em hard.

Yes sadly it appears that’s the feature that just opens a prompt to upgrade my sub. I’m fine with a local archive of my other account, so for me that’s fine, for others it might not be. Thank you though!

I fear you may misunderstand their goal here- direct quote:
“We need people who can translate AI’s capabilities into better products, stronger execution, and new ways of working — and who approach this change with curiosity, judgment, and urgency,” the email reads.
They specifically want to “weed out” the ones who ARE NOT using AI

;)
Oh and by the by, I rather like the way they tie mail, calendar together in the same app, “tabbed” style, sort of. Give me a year and I might have some complaints, but for right now my only complaint so far is it seems the “Revolutionary” level subscription isn’t “high-falutin’” enough to be allowed to import old mail. Just prompts me to upgrade my account.
Their youtube channel has a year old video about importing that says “all paid tiers in the future” but I guess we’re not at that future yet.

I for one am not sticking around to find out.

Tuta
I just did. My only slight annoyance is their desktop app doesn’t import old mail the way I’d like it to. The rest of the switch- domain DNS on my own domain name, etc- less than 15 minutes. Completely painless.

There it is. The last straw. My Tuta migration is complete.

They are back again today. WHY
