Its not a panacea but a step in the right direction. The rich and powerful have always had an out sized influence on American democracy but after citizens united its been much more. Any steps to curb it will be useful, especially at the state level since it is usually easier than national level. But at this point it might even happen at the national level. It isn’t a cure all but a step in the right direction

I don’t think impeaching and removing heads of various agencies is going to do much. They will just get replaced with a carbon copy. Completely defunding ICE will actually help. That’s what they should do. Pass bills or at least try to that will help people. Do some investigation but don’t let that take up all the oxygen or attention. Build a contrast

I agree with you there. Get some bills like Medicare for all, or raising the minimum wage running through. Even if they fail or get vetoed show with votes what Dems can do to help people. An easy win would be data centers ban or moratorium. Let Trump veto that for his tech bro buddies and tank his support even more. That way it gives a contrast or things you did instead of stopped doing.

I do think an aggressive Epstein file investigation is worth starting. Get two years of details for the next administration to work with.

Yeah he’s rabid and everyone hates him. Regular voters are turning on him and soon it will be Republicans when it costs them their jobs. Stop the most harmful things that have congressional control like War Powers resolution but focus on things that can help others. Let Trump squander his political capital and let the MAGA movement fail.

As a Minnesotan I have been so happy with the DFL here. I was so happy when he hit the national spot. Running progressive and focusing on pocketbook issues instead of playing catch-up against whatever cultural issue the Republicans want to play. You can still support minorities but stay on message of helping everyone

This is the kind of ballot measures that should be put to more states. When there’s direct democracy about single issues people are very progressive. Removing corporate cash from elections will be something everyone can get behind.

Every election there is at least one contest with a margin of less than 100 votes. You never know what one it will be. Vote!!! It always matters
