For me I really only use Proton for its mail. I am considering thunderbird pro / thundermail, they are more expensive than my proton mail plus subscription, but I feel like it also contributes to the development of the thuderbird client

I still have 6 months on my subscription - if I cancel I can keep using it until that time is up while I decide on a replacement?
