This is very sad. Laura has my complete sympathy.

They have excellent PR and marketing. People think they’re better than they actually are.

Once I was in a store that sold used office furniture. The sales floor/warehouse was dingy, uninviting, and poorly organized, but the deals were INSANE. Desperate landlords will give furniture away rather than pay to have it taken to a dump.

They don’t. They just casually drop the word “girlfriend” into a conversation to try and prove that they’re not an incel.

Of course, I’m making some major assumptions here, but I stand by them all.

Okay. Gatekeeping sucks. I’m with ya there. But… that doesn’t mean that you can’t make “no ai” (or something) a simple user setting, right? Does something like this already exist? If not, why? (I don’t use Steam, so I genuinely don’t know).

I’m surprised it became a noticeable problem this quickly. I was gonna give it a few more months before the failures started happening.

Fast food chains destroy food rather than donate it. People get fired for taking food home that’s “supposed” to be thrown away.
