22 hours agoDid they codify Roe v. Wade? Clinton said he wouldn’t do it. Obama said they had better things to focus on. They could have also passed real healthcare reform in Obama’s first two years, but he was too concerned about reelection to do it correctly. That super-majority was a gift.
Obama passed same-sex marriage only after Biden’s gaffe saying he’d support it. There’s an argument to be made that it might have been a setup and they did that intentionally, but I think these people play shit safe because they’re cowards.
