It’s objectively, irrefutably rigged.

You don’t understand. The only winning move is not to play.

The game isn’t even “free”. My wife had it on her phone, and it was available through a netflix subscription.
I showed her her that the game is deliberately handing her a losing hand so it plays a Temu ad, and there’s no luck or skill involved.
Uninstalled. Now I wanna can Neflix too for dishing this shit up to my family.

I didn’t know about the DVD region thing. I once worked in retail (Dick Smith Electronics), and we sold region-4 locked DVD players. However, our POS had region unlock instructions in the product description, which I would print and attach to each and every sale.

I remember either Google or Amazon explaining that the delay between the “hey” and the “ready” is the entire OS booting up. Like, there’s a separate super-low-power chip that will only respond to “hey” whilst in standby. When it detects the keyword, the rest of the device comes to life.
I’m not sure if they were telling the truth, but it’s plausible. The truth is always in the network payload.

I just updated the rockbox firmware on my 2ng gen iPod nano. I forgot how damn good the DAC is in these things.

It’s a rug-pull.

I’d say it should be a flat percentage. Large transactions still carry higher risk.

I still double-click the left corner every now and then. I’ve found myself using CTRL+INS and Shift+INS lately because CTRL+C/V keeps giving me very inconsistent results. Particularly in terminals. I remember using the the same hotkeys in MS-DOS editor.
There’s only one social media site that’s still the same as it was a decade ago. The only problem is that it was never good.
