And like AI itself.

It already has a dac, so the only thing missing is the 3.5mm jack. Otherwise, where do you think the signal for the speaker comes from?

Did I say you were? You did say that it was “doomerism”. Meaning that you believe this article is false. Hence, my question. Do I need to ask again?

Maybe proofread your comment before posting next time. This was hard to read.
I’d like to note that, while the battery is replaceable and looks like a common battery, it’s actually proprietary. So, if they stop making it, it’s over. I haven’t needed to replace mine yet, but it irks me.

every day the newspapers had articles about how we were on the verge of nuclear war
And it was true. For example, at least in one instance, a single person prevented it.
Something being likely and there being reports about it, does not mean that the risk wasn’t real if the threat is eventually prevented.
There’s plenty of evidence to support the claims of AI causing havoc on the economy when it finally fails. It’s an economically unviable product built by stealing from literally the entire world and then using obscene amounts of resources to function.

Show me a single source that has any proof of AI being economically viable.

Why walk when you can drive?
Depends on how much you drive. If you do it long enough that you forget how to walk, you’ll be stuck when the car runs out of gas. And it’s running out of gas.
Also, are we forgetting how AI was trained? It’s a stealing machine.

there were no other options with the clients
They couldn’t downgrade the clients? Sounds like that was the easiest option. You can also temporarily use something Keyguard, or why not, permanently given the latest news from Bitwarden.
yes. it was that. look up the vaultwarden issues, they were very popular.
Since providing sources was too hard, apparently. I think you’re referring to this issue from August for example? Issue was reported on August 20th and was fixed by September 7th. Kinda sounds like you wouldn’t have problems if you restricted updates for your users. Delay updates by a few weeks (or why not, a month) unless they’re absolutely necessary and you’re golden.
Like I said, there are options. Maybe instead of blaming Vaultwarden, you could learn from your own mistakes.

You can set a custom delay for automatic updates in watchtower. Also, what does “compatibility was fucked up by a client update” mean? Compatibility between Vaultwarden and the oficial bitwarden client? I’ve been running it for more than a year and did not have any problems whatsoever. Sounds like the reset worked for you guys, but the issue wasn’t that “compatibility was fucked up”. Even if something like that were to happen, why not switch to another client temporarily? Nuking the whole thing sounds like a lazy fix.

Or just use and maintain Vaultwarden properly. All you need to do is set up watchtower along with vaultarden and you’ll always be up to date. I’ve never had this problem so yes, I will continue to store my credentials there :)

Maybe that’s a bitwarden issue, I guess. One more point for selfhosting. Also, even if that were to happen to you, you most likely have it installed in more than one device. The chances of all sessions logging out at the same time would be extremely low.

How often do you update vaultwarden? This has never been an issue for me.

I’ve been self-hosting vaultwarden for a year and this has literally never happened to me.

If adoption spreads, that would no longer be true. So, instead of providing reasons not to use these types of measures, you’re just confirming that it’s the right path.

Not saying Android is a good OS, but this is false. It is 100% possible to use android rooted and with the bootloader unlocked while still retaining access to any apps you want. Banks or otherwise.
You need therapy.
