Robin Williams

His passing hit me like a ton of bricks. Brought me joy as a kid. Made me laugh with his crassness as a teen/young adult. Saw the goodness in him with his actions outside of media. Still hurts, just not as much with time.

While not knowing him directly, they still have a profound influence on our memory and history. His Picard character channels the ideals many of us would like to fulfill for ourselves and humanity at large. A part of us has been cut off.
