  • Just tax the wealthy. They obviously have too much money. When you have that much money you don’t just have it in a bank account having inflation eating away at it.

You have to invest it but the investment market is oversaturated. There are no longer any good investments so you have to pump up the bad investments and dump it before everyone else does.

A stock market is supposed to be a way to streamline making connections between people that have money to invest and companies that need investment. But with everything oversaturated, it’s just a casino. Go long before everyone else does, short before everyone else does.

The wealthy also want to hedge and put a bunch of money somewhere safe. So they invest in real estate. So now a home is an investment, and that’s too oversaturated and it’s too expensive for regular people to own a home.

Tax the wealthy, they have too much money and it’s causing serious problems for everyone. People going on and on about the problems being impossible to solve and we need a revolution or whatever are just distracting everyone from the obvious problem that has an obvious solution. The wealthy have too much money, the government can tax the wealthy if we push them to do that.

  • Most of the stuff you list are actually liberal policies. You know liberals those evil enemies of the tankies?

Communism is about state control of the economy. Shit that failed every time it was tried.

The whole point of the communist propaganda is to make you hate liberals that want the same things you do, and to make you spout communist slogans that make you sound like a crazy person. If you just said “I want to tax the rich, bust up big corporations, and implement universal healthcare” most people will agree with that. But If you rant on like “seize the means of production late stage capitalism eat the rich stalin did notihng wrong, china is a utopia blah blah blah” everyone rightly considers you a crazy person and nothing happens.

Maybe just stick to talking about the policies you want and stop with the commie talk and maybe things might happen. But then you would be saying the same thing as liberals oh noes! That’s bad according to the influencers that are heavily promoted by corporate social media. Always gotta do what corporate social media influencers tell you! Liberal are baaaaaaaad. They just talk about raising taxes on the rich and improving healthcare, they might not have even read Marx! BAD LIBERALS!

  • Yeah so it’s a reverse boycott. After we buy a lot from this company everyone will understand why this company isn’t a viable business!

Meanwhile in the real world, investors see an uptick in usage. Sure it’s not making money yet, but they project more growth because it looks it may be a viable business.

The companies paying for subscriptions see that the employees are using the service a lot and keep paying for those subscriptions. It’s silly to assume that a company paying for a subscription for AI isn’t going to know the tokens were wasted. If they knew that, they’d fire the employee doing this because it’s maliciously wasting company resources. If no one is fired for wasting tokens, we can logically assume the company paying for the subscriptions think the tokens are being used for valid work purposes and continue paying for the subscriptions.

What would actually prove to a company that an AI subscription is worthless is using zero tokens. Why would they pay for a service their employees don’t use?

Methinks this is a person that is actually using AI and feeling guilty over it. So its… “yeah I’m just using to to waste tokens to fight the power!” That or a brainrotted accelerationist.

Just another bullshit cog in the bullshit economy.

  • Yeah, getting metrics on software development has always been a problem from the first time people were writing code in the employ of a business.

Businesses love metrics. Put them on spreadsheet makes some graphs, that’s what some people do as their job.

The problem is you can’t actually measure the productivity of someone that’s doing something that’s never been done before. Software development is always about doing things that haven’t been done before. If you want the same software, you just copy it, you don’t need a developer. You only need a developer to make the software do something it doesn’t currently do, which means having someone do something they’ve never done before.

You just can’t measure the productivity on that. But businesses want to have some numbers, so they chuck whatever numbers they have into a spreadsheet.

  • The answer is pretty clearly stated:

It’s wrong, and it isn’t a reflection of the Democrats in the Congress of the United States.

The issue with a lot of the far left is that “allyship” is prioritized to the point where it’s impossible for anyone to denounce anything or anyone as long as it’s nominally “on our side.”

on multiple occasions I’ve found leftists that are incapable of even denouncing Hamas, a terrorist organization that has deliberately murdered women and children. Should be very easy to say “I’m pro-Palestine, but I denounce Hamas, those guys aren’t a part of my movement.” But we don’t want to offend any allies so let’s not say anything like that!

So if you’re in an extreme allyship culture it’s difficult to understand someone saying they don’t want to be associated with someone even if they are on the same side on many issues. The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend.

Really the pro-Palestinian movement would have a lot more success if it could separate itself from terrorist groups like Hamas and from overt antisemitism. But vibe-based internet movements with no clear goals are incapable of understanding when someone that’s nominally “on your side” is more of a liability than an asset.

The uncommitted movement are explicitly single issue voters, and GOP is way better at attracting vaguely racist single issue voters into their tent. If the Democratic Party becomes a party that is about appeasing the vaguely racist single issue voters, then how is it any different from the GOP? The typical “both sides are the same” voter suppression tactic becomes true at that point.

And sure you may be used to being the ones labeling others as being racist and it really stings when you’re the ones being labelled as such. But it’s obvious that while not everyone that’s critical of Israel is antisemitic, all antisemites are critical of Israel. Do you need an Venn diagram? Given the anti-Israel coalition refuses to recognize there is any antisemitism in the ranks (must never reject an ally!), they’re not doing anything about it. Must never criticize those that criticize Israel!

But yeah criticizing people, even those within the same party is normal. What’s actually weird is being incapable of having any kind of rational response to it, other than to attack. Always attack never defend, the mantra of cults everywhere.

It’s also obvious that the uncommitted are more comfortable with being allies with Hamas and overt antisemites than being allies with the Democratic party.

  • There are real economic policies that could improve people’s lives. Tax the wealthy, break up large corporations, actually implement healthcare.

The wealthy want to distract you from these things because they enjoy not paying taxes, controlling huge corporations, and profiting off of you when your sick.

So they distract you with demagoguery about failed economic systems to keep you ignorant of the policies that will actually work. Guys like Hasan don’t want you to have a better life, they want to profit off of you by selling socialist themed t-shirts at their merch stores.

No socialist movement can succeed without the working class. The working class know how difficult it was for people like them under socialist systems of the past. It is only the university elite that get scammed by guys like Hasan, he does his performances on a set designed to look like a dorm room after all. You have an affinity to Marx, Lenin, Mao, maybe even Stalin if you’re particularly tankie. The Working class have an affinity towards the people that starved, were worked to death on a “five year plan” or people in China right now working a 996 shift. You’ll probably have to do some googling to figure out what a 996 shift is because you care so little about the working class.

He’s not using a dime of the money he’s made off of his grift to organize labour, there is zero effort to appeal to the working class in this faux socialist movement. It wouldn’t work anyway because there has been enough contact with people in the working class with people that have immigrated from former socialist countries that they all know the socialist rhetoric is bullshit. Life was worse for the working class under socialism, you hand wave it away as a minor detail, and that makes you toxic to the working class. Only wealthy university kids that haven’t had much contact with the working class buy into the “class consciousness” “late stage capitalism” type rhetoric. The working class knows it’s all a lie, anyone who’s talked to anyone from Eastern Europe or Cuba who was working class and not part of the political elite knows what’s up.

Hasan represents a movement for psychopaths that ignore the hardships of the people that were oppressed be the authoritarian regimes you regularly quote.

  • Nah, I don’t like MAGA at all, I’m Canadian.

But I do recognize Hasan is just running a MAGA style grift.

I also recognize you’re unable to accept any criticism of a wealthy grifter the same way that MAGAs defend Trump, another wealthy grifter.

You’re upset about the declining quality of life. You should be. THinking some rich guy that’s just saying controversial things on social media is going to make your life better? Feeling like it’s important to vehemently defend a wealthy social media grifter? Yeah that’s what MAGA is really about.

You’re just being angry about people not liking orange kool-aid and saying they must like the strawberry kool-aid. Y’all are drinking the kool-aid down there. Which flavour you prefer doesn’t make you any better than the other people drinking the social media kool-aid.
