I also check outside temperature with my nose. It’s very reliable since the nose has a very even temperature, the cold sting on the nose is good for -10 to 10 degrees. Also outside just smells very different by how hot it is from 15 to 35. Celsius that is.
Yeah, they probably were a bit conservative before but when you can fill a whole production line with back orders it’s really a no brainer.
I made an upgrade on my shoe tieing technique a decade ago. Here’s a guy doing it. It’s 2x faster than standard method of looping around the loop and is not a granny knot. After initial wrapping the laces step finishing is one second.
I think both are easy. Gripping the stem and putting a nail into it pierces the skin then instead of squashing the banana you pull on the skin until it comes apart. It needs just a tiny bit more force, no squashing and when finishing pinching the bottom pops out the last piece.
Both completely valid.
Would eat the onion for a 100, rest for 1000
I’d eat all 4 lol
When I was 10y old I got to cut a thingy for my younger sister to choose. A third had sprinkles so I cut just that third of. My mom implied I was gaming the system but I said my sister is free to choose the bigger one if she wanted.
It was a gambit but I got 2x bigger piece.
Just for funsies Caesar is also the ancestor of Tzar and Keizer which covers a lot of European country words for emperor. Emperor coming from Imperium, also Latin but Roman empire actually used Augustus (like English augment meaning elevated as in the citizen of the empire that was elevated). Eastern Roman empire (commonly referred to as Byzantine) used Basileus which survives as basilica and basil the herb.
