Convenience stores where I am are generally franchises, and some are literally in the mall 30 seconds walk away from the grocery. Same opening hours, same location, etc.
Mostly with convenience pricing I’m thinking about things like how a convenience store can be next to a supermarket and charge you a 20% markup on the exact same item, and people pay because they can’t be bothered going into the grocery.
